The best cat furniture for your cat

Before a cat or a tomcat can move in with you, you should have a basic set of cat furniture. In addition to a place to sleep or various cosy spots, you should always provide your cat with scratching furniture. You also need cat bowls for food and water, as well as a cat litter tray. It is important that you position your cat's litter tray in a fixed place where your cat can do its business undisturbed.

How do I find the right cat tree?

Cat trees are available in different designs and materials. To find the perfect cat tree for you and your cat, you should consider the following:

A suitable cat tree should have a comfortable place to lie down, a scratching board, different climbing options and a place to retreat (e.g. a cave).

The trunk of the cat tree must be made of robust material.

- You should get kittens used to a small scratching post to minimise the risk of accidents

- For heavy cats, a floor-to-ceiling scratching post with very thick posts and a floor mount is useful

At the same time, the appearance of the scratching post should fit into your home. That's why you'll find a huge selection of different scratching posts in our shop that are sure to fit into your home.

How can I protect my couch from my cat?

Cats scratch furniture as part of their natural behaviour. That's why cats that live exclusively in apartments absolutely need their own cat furniture or a scratching post like a cat board. So one way or another, your cat will need somewhere to scratch to keep your couch safe.

Not enough space for a cat tree?

Especially in cities, many people have smaller apartments. Nevertheless, you still want to offer your cat a place of retreat and scratching opportunities. In our shop, you will find a large selection of scratching mats that you can also attach to the wall, for example. We also have climbing walls that offer your cat a scratching mat, a lying surface and climbing opportunities. As an alternative to a scratching mat, you can set up a scratching post, which is also particularly space-saving. Other accessories for your cat include transport boxes, cat toys and care products. Not a fan of cats? No problem, because we also have accessories for dogs.
